Built for

The challenge

Turn a futuristic 'fly the city' concept into a site that feels like a live mission console — not a marketing page — while still converting visitors into real drone-flight reservations.

The approach

A neon-on-navy mission-control aesthetic with a live status panel (network, active routes, viewers, FAA window), a Now Flying waypoint player wired to Google Street View, and twin CTAs to enter the cockpit or reserve a real flight.

About this project

A cinematic 'public pilot program' site that lets visitors hop into a virtual cockpit and follow pre-programmed drone paths through Monument Circle, the Canal Walk, Mass Ave and the Brickyard — paired with a real-flight reservation flow.

How we built it

A simple, four-step process.

  1. 01

    Concept

Mapped six iconic Indy waypoints — Monument Circle, Canal Walk, Mass Ave, Brickyard — into a cockpit-style route playlist.

  2. 02

    Mission-console UI

Built a HUD with live network status, route count, concurrent viewers, weather and FAA window for instant credibility.

  3. 03

    Cockpit player

Wired pre-programmed Street View waypoints to keyboard controls so visitors can 'pilot' the route in any direction.

  4. 04

    Reservation flow

Added a Reserve-a-real-flight CTA above the fold to convert curiosity into booked drone work.
